| Arliss was pretty good. As far s comedies go, Entourage and Curb Your Enthusiasm are much better. I can't understand why they canned Carnivale, were the ratings really that lacking compared to other HBO series? Maybe the production costs were just too high to justify it, the cast of that show on a weekly basis was huge. |

| I don't have HBO, so I have no attachment to other shows. I Just got rome off mininova. I like it. Almost makes me want to get HBO and all that jazz (the digital cable shit). I think I'll just be content though with downloading them. Someone needs to get episode 3 up though (its supposed to be available today (monday sep5) on "On Demand") |

| Episode 3 is floating around the Torrent networks. Episode 1 was good, but Episode 2 has me hooked. Hopefully the show maintains its momentum. If the series is to conclude with Caesar's assassination, they still have plenty of history to pull from. |

+31 Internets | Rome is fuckin' great. Just finished the second ep and I'm sold for the rest of the series... I didn't hear that Dead Like Me and Carnivale were cancelled. Both were awesome shows. Deadwood is another great show. |

| Curb your enthusiasm has to be one of the funniest shows of all time. The shit is so random, it's hilarious. Not like family guy or aqua teen, which sometimes try waaaay too hard to be random, but stuff like David schimmer being Larry's dance partner and him telling him off because his father's trailmix company doesn't put enough cashews in the mix is great. The episode where Larry opened the restaurant with the French chef who had tourette's...Oh my God...I don't know an episode of the show I haven't laughed at loud at.

+12 Internets | Curb is fucking hilarious. Amen. Arli$$ was great for like 1-2 seasons. Had moments for another season or two. Was utter shit after that. Stopped using real athletes, and every episode was "a very special" episode. Oh Kirby's got AIDS now and is trying to save an orphanage while Rita comes to appreciate her senile and decrepit neighbor and Arliss learns to love a deranged racist! SO FUNNY! THANKS ROBERT WUHL! Rome: I only caught the 1st episode so far. Was entertaining but not great. When Deadwood started it took about 20 minutes for me to be hooked. Rome...not so much. I'm pretty much resigned to watching any series they show on HBO or FX at this point. Though I've been missing Over There after 1st ep. Will hafta catch in a marathon or something later. Or download. Haven't watched Starved either. But between the two channels their series(Deadwood, Curb, Entourage, Sopranos, maybe Rome for HBO. The Shield, Rescue Me, Over There, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia(new, funny) on FX.) are like 90% of my TV watching these days(football aside).

| Best Curb your Enthusiasm episode was when Larry got a pubic hair caught in his throat I thought. Oh and when he was playing around while driving shooting kids with his hands and the dad got pissed.
