It was a damn good show. Audio Slave and Jane's Addiction was fantastic.

Incubus I've seen in the past a few times and they kind of let me down. I liked Morning View but I don't think it's good concert material. They performed well I would have rather heard their other songs, namley the ones from SCIENCE and maybe even Fungus Amungus if they felt like it. They also played some new stuff (with the new replacement bassist from The Roots) and it was promising.

I felt the same thing when I saw Incubus live.

Incubus was a damn good live act who saw their album sales shoot up, so they started making music that makes for good albums. They seem to have forgotten all about music that makes good live performances. They're still good, but their performances would be a helluva lot better if they leaned more on SCIENCE and even Make Yourself.

August 17th. Can't wait.

Audio Slave, whom I havnt' really listend too or seen live, simply owned ass.

I don't even need to mention the silver hot pant glory that was Jane's Addiction.

Can Perry Farrell sing live though? The live songs I have heard have sounded like shit, and from the way he sings on the albums it sounds like he would have a hard time hitting it live. Don't get me wrong, I love Jane's, I just have a hard time imagining them being good live.

I would have his Babies Eomer. He sounded just as well, if not better, then he does on CD(Because it's live, duh).

Woah now. I don't have any posters of Perry, especially naked ones. I want to have his babies in a purley heterosexual way. Was just a great show and was definatly worth the $58 for tickets.

I saw Lollapalooza on Aug 13th and A Perfect Circle started on the 15th. I loved thes how...Rooney who the fuck are these guys but they kicked ass. The all chick band that played after them sucked ass. Incubus's set was so fuckin weak..see my rant in another thread about this situation. I almost won the Tony Hawk Underground tournament they had, the bastard that beat me go 512,000 points and I scorded 423,000....100000 more points and I woudl've been on stage w/ Audioslave...O well nice to dream. Jurassic 5 pwned too...of course i have a varied taste in music.
