| The second coming of the greatest band ever...A Perfect Cirlce Easily my favorite band, just wish they had more material. That wish is being fulfilled with their newest CD, dropping September 13th, titled "The Thirteenth Step." Also announced were their new tour dates July-Sept. I personally can't wait. www.aperfectcircle.org

I just hope they still sound as good with the new bassist. If so, this will be a kick ass album. Guaranteed! | |

I downloaded a few songs from Tapeworm. They were decent but it sounds nothing like normal NIN...its kinda trance/techno-ish. Yes, it was really from Tapeworm.

| ya i downloaded some of that stuff to and it does say its the real nin/maynard tapeworm it isnt, and thank god to it sounds like pure ass. I think they tapeworm project got cancelled cause Maynard played a Tapeworm song at a concert and Trent didnt think it was done and didnt want him to play it but he did so i think there might have been falling out between the 2. |

| Damn, no St. Louis. But I'm still optimistic. There was no official St. Louis date on their last tour either at first, but in the end they ended up comming here twice =) Hopefully the same will be true this time around and also for anyone else whose city isn't on that list. Can't wait ![]()

| That stuff thats labels tapeworm is not the tapeworm project its just random stuff renamed, like "warlock" is just a different copy of the song worlock by Skinny puppy. The only tapeworm song that has been leaked is vacant, which apc performed live. |

| I am sorry but the 15 minute bridges in the middle of all their songs makes Tool/APC not my favorite band. Just finish the song already. Maybe if I took drugs who knows. I do think I will give this a listen though because even if I am not super excited about it they do release good music. True not every song is 15 minutes and some really stick in your head. I hope this one they have toned down the length of the instrumental bridges and focus on the lyrics. |

+31 Internets | Yeah, you did. Tool does have a lot of long songs, as the band progresses their songs seem to get longer and longer. Personally I like it, my favorite songs have always been the long epic ones (Three Days by Jane's, In My Time of Dying by Zep, Third Eye by Tool). But it isn't very radio friendly, nor it is party music or something to listen to in your car (unless you are driving a long distance ).APC though is a totally different band, with the singer being the only similarity. Granted, because of his voice they can sometimes sound similar, but I think their styles are quite different. APC is a lot more positive and easier to listen to. I just checked my APC files, and only three were bigger than 4 megs, so @ 128kbps, 4 megs is about 4 minutes. So there you go! |

| /agree Eomer I love Tool's long songs. Pushit, Third Eye, 4 Degrees, Floods, and basically all of 'Lateralus'. If you have the 'Salival' DVD/CD box set you'll notice they extended Pushit by 2 minutes in a live performance. |

+31 Internets | Yeah, although I think I had already downloaded that recording of Pushit a few years back from toolshed.down.net, or at least a very close version with that guy playing Tabla. Oooh, I just checked that website for the first time in years. While the bootlegs are still down, they do have a recording of that Tapeworm song! |
