Need a Christmas Gift suggestion

I need a good blues/rock/alternative CD to buy my brother for Christmas. Got laid off from my well paying job so haven't been able to buy the crapload of CD's I used to.

If anyone has recomendations around Filter/Ben Harper/Alice in Chains/Soul Coughing/ Jack Johnson but lesser known bands would be great.
