Incubus pre Make Yourself was one of the best band out there. Before judging them on their latest release -which was a huge disappointment to me- listen to their older stuff (Fungus Amongus, Enjoy Incubus or Science) : they had a much more diversed and dynamic style, ala Faith No More.

Btw, Red Hot Chili Peppers suck ass, I just can't stand them.

I agree with Fluffya in regards to Incubus.

However I still like the Chili's, but definitely not in the same way that I did around Blood Sugar Sex Magik. They went from a good funk/alternative band to basically a pop band. I don't have too much of a problem since the transition wasn't instant, and I still really like their music. But they aren't what they once were.

Exactly... comparing any band to them is an insult... Incubus did however show talent... and my thoughts have already been expressed.

i did like the early Chili stuff and the early Incubus, but now they are mainstream with more or less only one idea replayed in so many songs, the both of them

I just think there are bands that use funk and rock and other things like that far better.

I think Mourning View made them not my fav band anymore, S.C.I.E.N.C.E was far there best album, Fungus Amongus, then Make your self. I dont see how red hot chilli peppers even come close to Incubus lyrics or even sound.

But if you asked me Certain shade of green or New skin is far some of there best songs.
