Has anyone else listened to it yet? Am i missing it or is it really missing? Scenes in the trailer but not in the moive i can live with, but I want that music! |

| It's Clint Mansell and the Kronos Quartet. Lux Aeterna if you want to be more specific. It's also on the Requiem for a Dream Soundtrack. Hope that helps. Check out Philip Glass and Steve Reich also, great music. EDIT: Misspelled Aeterna. Last edited by Stroker Ace : 12-11-2002 at 08:15 PM. |

| Just got The Two Towers Soundtrack version of Lux Aeterna, and its nothing like "Hope Overture" off Requim for a Dream (more drums and choir). Highly recommend getting this version if you enjoy Kronos Quartet. |

| Music used in theatrical trailers does not necessarily appear in the actual film, and rarely on the soundtrack. More often than not, it's just stock music the studio owns the rights to, which it uses to promote its films in previews. In the case of The Two Towers, the trailer music is mostly done by the Kronos Quartet (as has been mentioned).

| The actualy soundtrack wasn't created untill august and the trailer that had the kronos quartet came out with men in black 2?shrug. question about the trailer, there was some shots in the preview that did not appear in the film, i guess something for the extended version (scene in question has arwen running up some stairs while throwing her robe on the group while elrond is at his desk). |

| The movie hadn't had it's final cut yet when the trailer was put together, I'm sure. Hell, if you go back and watch the first trailer for The Fellowship, here is one or two scenes from RotK in it.
