| Bands you 'forgot' you liked... Just wonderng if this ever happens to anyone else.. But right now, I got a descent collection of music ranging from punk to rockabilliy to the various sub-genres of techno, all stuff I enjoy alot and love listening to. However, now and then I'll toss in an old CD I havnt listende to in ages, and be like 'damn, forgot how much I liked these guys' This rescnetly happened when I toss'd in a mix cd for the first time in like, a year on a long drive and Guttermouth came on, totatly forgot how much I liked them, and then dug though and found another CD with more of their stuff and had a rather nice drive. Also the other day while at a record store, saw a new Voodoo Glowskulls CD .. same deal, totatly forgot bout the band, but still loved them when I listened to their new stuff. |

+5 Internets | Funny you should mention that because I recently listened to a hand full of CD taking dust in my shelves. Some I remembered perfectly (like the groundbraking Dummy by Portishead) and some not at all, like that pretty enjoyable break beat effort that is Chiken Eye by Dee-Jay Punk-Roc or the very mellow sound of that compilation of remixes made by Kruder and Dorfmeister.

| Concrete Blonde, Sisters of Mercy, Live, The Cult, Collective Soul All bands I own multiple albums by but don't listed to on a weekly (or even monthly) basis. Everytime I do pop in one of their CDs, I'm reminded why I bought them in the first place. Good stuff all of them.

| I just found my original Britney Spears "Baby One More Time" CD, and I plugged it up and I freaking loved it. Especially the song Dear Diarahea. I forgot how much talent she has, in writing her own song, playing the instruments, and everything else. I guess I'll have to send off that check to renew my membership in her fanclub.. NOT!
