I think the big "news" is likely the ban, at least in Germany (I am not even in Europe, or a big Rammstein fan, but its clogging all channels I have in German). And, as noted above, most people seem to fret most over the free publicity this produces. Some critics say, and likely have a point, that it would've just sunk as mediocre album from a band that's seen better days, where it not for the Ministry to catapult it into the headlines.

Rammstein’s new full-length Liebe ist Für Alle Da has been banned from public display by the German government, a ruling that is to take effect tomorrow, November 11th. Rammstein, who despite touching on “such subjects as sadomasochism, homosexuality, incest, abuse, necrophilia, pyromania, cannibalism and sexual violence,” have never had an album banned in their native Germany. Liebe ist Für Alle is currently at Number Two in the European Billboard Chart and their upcoming, 50-date European tour is already sold out according to the Billboard report.
