The song "Woman" nearly ruined this band for me, (500) days of Summer made me remember its not all bad. Will check this out

Yes Wolfmother, Jet, and similar bands are really kind of a guilty pleasure for me. I feel like I enjoy them much more than I should.

Why? Wolfmother is a pretty fucking awesome band, or at least their first album was. I don't know why it would be a guilty pleasure. Other than "Woman", their music isn't even particularly marketable or catchy. Maybe Cosmic Egg changes the formula up since it's almost an entirely new lineup, but their debut sounded straight out of the 70's (in a very good way). Whereas Jet sounds like they write all their songs to be singles.

Gonna go grab this tonight, forgot it had come out until I heard one of their new songs in a new ski video last night.
