I don't have any favorites. I go on kicks. Sometimes it's a Skynyrd kick where I load up a CD full of Simple Man, Free Bird, Gimmie Three Steps, Sweet Home Alabama, et al. Sometimes it's Steely Dan, or Grand Funk Railroad, or the Zep, or any other number of bands that I think produced some excellent ass songs.

Do I think Led Zeppelin is one of the greatest bands ever? Of course I do. You'd have to be retarded not to. That's like saying you hate the Beatles, or think Elvis had as much cultural impact as your morning shit. You say shit like that, and you're fucking retarded.

I'm sorry, this isn't where I try to gain some street cred or whatever the fuck bullshit you're looking for. This isn't High fucking Fidelity, I'm not going to shoot off a list about my 5 favorite pubic hairs or whatever just so that I can look cool to you. Basically, and I'm surprised you haven't caught onto this yet, fuck yourself, and get the fuck out of my thread.

Just admit already that your music taste is likely shit and that you're lashing out because you're afraid of having your taste critiqued.

I know you are trying hard to troll James, but give it up. It is unpossible.

Unintentionally maybe. You music elitists with shitty taste tend to get easily trolled though.

Liking classic rock is the indie thing to do. A couple weeks ago I had a kid tell me Big Star was the best pop band ever.

I am always a sucker for AC/DC and/or Sabbath.

At this point though, can Pantera, Metallica, etc be considered classic rock/metal? If not, when or ever?

Nope. Nothing God Awesome. Just the same crap everyone listens to. /shrug Guess I can't talk about music because I don't fill my time trying to like shit only a handful of other people have managed to like. Unknown shit is unknown mostly because it's usually shit.

BTW...all of my opinions are my opinions. Your opinions are yours. It's awesome how opinions work out like that.

House of the Rising Sun was in my sig at some point, now there's a badass song. If we're talking about Eric Burdon, though, you can't leave out Spill the Wine.
