| The greatest random song moment ever. Dunno if this deserves its own thread, but I don't know where else to put it. So I'm leaving campus today and they're having one of those outdoor picnic type things with representatives from different student organizations all over the place. So anyway, I'm wandering through there heading toward my car just people watching or whatever, and suddenly this song comes on. Now it has a nice beat, and this is Tennessee so country is not surprising, so I wasn't really paying attention at the start. But what followed was quite possibly the greatest six or seven minutes of randomly enjoyable music of my life. Just stop and listen to the words. By the end there were at least ten other people just standing there clearly experiencing it for the first time just as I was, and needless to say the reactions with every line were mixed. I've never heard of this guy before, but stick with it the whole way and you will not be disappointed.

| I'm guessing it wasn't coming from a PSA(Progressive Student Alliance) tent. Goddamn those kids were fucking annoying. Since you seem to be one of the few tennesseans on this board, I'll give you two from the state: Best random country moment for me was getting back into TN after a long trip up north and looking for a half-decent rock station and hearing "Rebel flag in Germany." I mostly despise modern country but I had to laugh at that one, especially considering where I'd been. Best random song moment? Had just dropped acid and stumbled into Barley's and saw Lord T and Eloise for the first time... I'd never heard of them before and thought I was losing my mind when I noticed that one dude (now who I know is Eloise) was painted gold. Right after that, they started playing the song "Chemicals" and I knew I'd found my home for the evening. For reference:

| Back in college, me and a roommate were driving to Chick-fil-a when Jimmy Eat World "The Middle" came on the radio. We proceeded to order and talk to the beat of the song. When we pulled up to the window the people gave us the funniest 'WTF are these guys on?' faces ever.
