Must say there's no better feeling then driving down international speedway blvd. (the main road Daytona speed way is on) with Miley Cyrus's party in the USA cranked up with the windows down because my AC is broken. Get some many looks from dudes in pick-up trucks, it's great.

I hadn't heard of her until the VMA incident so when that went down I watched her and Beyonce's competing videos. I thought hers was retarded and Beyonce's was average, better than most in the same vein, not great but I could at least see why Kanye liked it. I came to the conclusion that everyone involved was dumb and Kanye was an even bigger asshole than I'd given him credit for.

Fast forward to the above post. That first video made me go, "aw, well I guess she seems like a nice person!" Then I found this:

And all I can say is when I have kids I hope they grow up as well, have something they love as much, and are as happy as she seems to be. (I dare you to watch that video and hate her!)

+1 for Taylor. I'm not going to run out and buy her albums or anything, but Kanye probably just did her the biggest favor of her career.

I can't say that I am a fan of her music but she really does seem like a sweet girl. Which has made this Kanye thing all the better for her and worse for him. I am sure he would of been boo'd off the stage regardless but choosing to do that to a girl who seems like just a all around nice kid is not smart. Has really boosted her profile.

That video of her getting nominated 4 times made me smile.

I know right? Genuinely elated and happy people tend to be contagious... I guess that's why I like to watch her uploads whenever there's a new one. Even though I'm sure she's not as clean and pure as the wind-driven snow like her videos make her out to be, it's nice to suspend disbelief and think somebody out there is doing what they love and is very happy about it (and is making a lot of money off of it).
