They remind of early Metallica a lot. Very diverse as well.

I hate to be that guy (not really) but if you are going to post over the wall at least post the original one and not that garbage re-done version.

And on the note of the guy mentioning ticket price, that is probably the biggest thing that'd stop me from going to this tour if it comes to being. You say 50 bucks to see Metallica is cheap, but I don't think so. Most shows I go to the ticket is barely 20-25 bucks, the only bands I'm really willing to pay more to see these days are priest/maiden.

Don't worry about it, the original sounds better.. I just posted the first one that came up.

Assuming it's an indoor show, you're getting your money's worth from a Met show. I saw the STP tour last year and paid the same price as I did for my Metallica ;Ticket 65 bucks.

Like every other indoor Met show I've been to it had a great light rig, pyro and just all the bells and whistles, shit that maybe isn't necessary but at least you can stand there and go hey , some of my money is going to the show and not straight into whoevers pockets, it's worth it just to have the round stage so you have a solid seat wherever. Quite contrarily STP had a video screen behind them on stage showing cars racing and women dancing and just used the standard Stadium lighting.

Outdoors it's a little different but then you're paying for the crowd which is typically the greatest thing about a big rock show.

I paid 450 for my ticket to the last Maiden show and it was worth every penny. I'd pay nearly that to see Metallica , both bands really know how to get an audience involved and both bands have legendary live performances.

Eh, most the bigger venues around here are pretty bleh. We have a couple indian casinos which I don't think have a very good sound to them, there's a minor league hockey rink a couple towns away that has had a few concert theres but I've never been there aside from games, then there's the garden in the city. I really don't like going go the garden though.

As much as I like the music, I could do without 75% of the morons who go to metal shows. I'm just there to see the band and hear the music, I really couldn't care less about anything else. I'd rather go to a small venue with 20-50 people there then a big show anyways. Nothing pisses me off more than being in a real crowded venue and those dumbasses still need to start a mosh pit and cramp everyone up even more. Especially considering these days a mosh pit is nothing more than a reason for a bunch of kids to go in and try to beat the crap out of each other, at least when I get stuck on the outside of one around here.

450 bucks for maiden is crazy though, maiden is awesome but damn... though I could see that happening. Best show I've ever been to was my first maiden show. Bought a lawn seat and was able to sneak all the way up to the pit in front of the stage. Good times.

Saw them in Dallas. Was wondering why very few people were in the pit area before the show started. I have never left a concert with so many bruises in my life...

edit: One of my favorite thrash bands, saw them in Oklahoma City in '05.

So I really shouldn't care but whatever, i'll open the gates... let them rain down fuckers. But for all the stupid shit to neg me over, fucking going for the tired ass metallica hate when all I said was I don't really fault them for where they decided to go and how it worked for them. Whatever. If we want to play the jerk off elitist game, then why don't we go down the list of every band on this tour. Slayer hasn't done a good album since Seasons, and that was in 1990... two years after the last respectable Metallica album. Megadeth I suppose is somewhat in the air, but I'd say the last really good album was rust in peace. Again 1990. Not a huge Anthrax fan, but I'd probably say Persistance in time was the last decent album. I never cared for john bush though. And again we hit that magic year, 1990.

All those bands did sick shit in the 80's, we all know that. Then why do you dumbasses have to jump on the metallica train when really, none of those other bands have even done anything impressive since about the time. Probably because it's easier to be a dumbasses and hate on them for "selling out".

TLDR: Find a time machine, go back to the '80s where you thought Halford was wearing leather to be a badass and beat up some glam fans. It suits you better for your life as a super metal thug yo.

Just personal preference, but I'll take John Bush over Belladonna any day. Thats possibly why I like their work with him as singer more, but either way I think they put out more good music from Sound of White Noise (kick ass album) onwards.
