FNM was bloody fantastic, they've been doing replays after the live feed ends, so keep an eye on it. I haven't got shit done this morning because I can't peel myself away from this, and yesterday at work was the same story.

And yeah, that's Phil, and Rex from Pantera on bass. The guitarist with the long hair is Pepper Keenan from Corrosion of Conformity.

There's also a boatload of tits in the crowd if you keep watching, the cameraman's doing a fine job.

I think the reason for that is they're shooting their own DVD of it. Still sucks about MM, seen him live a few times and he puts on a ridiculously good show. I could give a fuck about Dragonforce though, I plan to start my Saturday when Down ends.

I missed Devildriver

so I'm hoping the replay catches a good amount of it.

Anyone watching right now, who is this electrono-metal band playing Master of Puppets?

80's day today, Journey was pretty awesome, missed most of the morning with a hangover. I hope this comes out as a whole DVD, this show has been pretty great as a whole.

Thanks. Not really my thing at all, but I can't stop watching this freakin' thing and was a little suprised when the opening of MoP came up.

The band on right now I can do without as well, but I slept in this morning so I'm hanging in there hoping for some Dream Theater highlights.

No problem bud, they're not my thing either but they are a diverse band atleast. Watched the interview with Pendulum and apparently they're diverse enough to play in concerts like Download with the metal crowd but fit into and the pop crowd as well.

I've been trying to find a clip or clips of Faith No More though, since I missed them. Having no luck though.

Videos are popping up on Youtube, no idea how long they'll last, copyright blah blah incoming I'd imagine.

Won't bother with the embeds in case they die, but Here's DT. Labrie sounds off quite a bit though, like he's out of breath. I'm a huge DT fan and would like to have seen him nail it as this is by far the biggest crowd they'll ever play for. :\

Portnoy might be a bit of a cheeseball but fuck all is he amazing, and he looks almost bored behind the kit. That, plus only Jordan Rudess can walk out with a fuckin' crazy looking Keytar and pull it off. I had a big shit eating grin on my face watching this one around the 8min mark.

I saw them in Leeds on Friday night (didn't go to Download) and that solo duel with the Keytar nearly brought the house down.

La Brie sounded badass as well. It might be that the festival setting encouraged him to project too much.
