| I'd say Creed, but honestly, I have never met a single person who wasn't downright disgusted by this band. I'm surprised they are still around, they have got to be the most unpopular group around. To change things up, I'll say one that has not been said before: Pearl Jam.. I used to not be able to stand these guys. I think it was something about Vedder's monotonus voice that agravated me during a time when I was listening to Soundgarden, Nirvana, and AiC primarily. Despite the critical aclaim and the fact that most of my friends like them, I still havn't given them their proper chance. I can't explain it, but their music has always put me off, I just can't seem to get into it. |

| Everyone hates Creed. Which is your opinion. I really don't like anything off of "Human Clay". I do however like some stuff off "My own prison" and 1-2 songs from "Weathered". No one gives a shit, but I really hate Rush. Freewill and Tom Sawyer are the worst pieces of shit songs to reach my ears. |

+29 Internets | The beat on One Little Victory is unreal, that song is fucking HEAVY. Vapor Trails I think is a pretty damn good CD. But I am not really a Rush fan, I only own Test for Echo and Vapor Trails, so maybe they aren't representative of what most people like of Rush. But personally I like them, although Vapor Trails is about 10 times better than Test for Echo. And Creed? I actually liked My Own Prison, at least at first. Musically I still don't mind them, But even their lyrics are so goddamned preachy that it ruins the experience for me. Combine that with Scott Stapp staring into the camera wistfully, and their videos take on a whole new dimension of annoying shit. |

| I fucking hated Tool until i saw them live. Now i can't stop listenning to them. It takes some getting into but their music is really incredible if you have the ear for it (not everyone does). However, some talentless pieces of shit out there are: Kid Rock: "well i was born a little pie eye'd motherfucker, mama she left me and my papa was a hard trucker, out on the highway we used to roll he never made me go to school i never begged to go i was raised out in the styx i was born to be a hick" No you weren't. Shut the fuck up. Your dad was a fucking suburban car dealer you little bitch. Do chew on a cock you talentless motherfucker. Creed: just, fuckit, no. ugh. Linkin Park: (_))/////////////D Limp Bizkit: With the exception of John Otto (drummer) the rest of you can go fuck a pedestal and eat my metric fuckton (I love that phrase) of cum. Weezer: grow a dick and cut off your tits you sissy fags. I'm sure there's mroe but i'm too fucking tired to think em up.

| Weezer - Sorry, I don't dig catchy pop rock shit. Tool - No doubt a fairly decent band, but EXTREMELY overrated in my opinion. Dave Matthews Band - Not that I hate him, he's a talented musician but consider this; take his music and place it in the 60's or 70's. He'd be just another fucking musician. The thing about guys like Dave Matthews/Tool is that they look amazing compared to the rest of the music today (Blink 182, Linkin Park etc) cause they are actually decent musicians. But that's all they are in my opinion, decent musicians. Nothing special or spectacular. I guess it all depends what your spectrum of music is. Mine is in the last 50 years, not the last 2 years. |

He's back and seems to be doing as well as can be expected though. I read his book called Ghost Rider (the song on Vapor Trails is about it) all about his several month motorcycle trip all over North America trying to deal with his grief. Pretty good read. Rush had multiple very distinct phases. You cannot write off the entire band because of one or two songs. Freewill and Tom Sawyer were one album apart. The older stuff and new stuff is all very differenct from that era of their music. As for my band(s) that lots of people like that I could never get into... Depeche Mode The Cure Limp Bizket Lincoln Park (insert popular rap act here)

| I'm riding the threadjack I know, but y'all are making me want to go out and buy every Rush album, hehe. (If I had money...) I remember my friend in high school loved Rush, and I always assumed it was because he wanted to look "cool", so I listened with a prejudiced ear. Hopefully now I can listen better. They also seem to be a "musician's band"... my friend was a drummer, everyone else I talk to that swears by their Rush is a musician too. These people must know something I have been denying all these years. ![]()

| - female R&B and pop singers, mostly colored.....dammit, screw you and your songs about feminism, how hard it is to be a woman, all your troubles and philosophies. what's that 'J-Lo', you're still "Jenny from the block"? suck my c**k. i hate alicia keys, destiny's child, TLC and all those so much i want to scream - britney spears, shakira, and all that no-talent BULLSHIT music out there disturbs me, it really does. it's criminal that the most popular 'musicians' in the world these days don't write their owns songs or play instruments at all.....they're just dolls who sing with their tits and shitty voices. - bands who get popular on remakes of old songs or release entire albums of pure cover tracks. what the fuck? everything that was ever a remote hit anywhere seems to get remade and resung by some no-talent hoe who looks good. remember why the original was a hit? oh yeah, because it was good to some extent.....nobody intended for you or some song-dude at a record company to remake it the way you like it. - that new wave of ass pop-rock that's been so popular since the late 90's - stuff like linkin park, limp bizkit, system of a down, creed, crazytown (wow your tattooes are kewl). same with those 15 year old girls like michelle branch and avril something....uuuuh? back to the 9th grade with you. |

+11 Internets | Since it seem to be an important criteria for you, Michelle Branch, Avril Lavigne and Vanessa Carlton (who would also fit your category I think) do write their songs ![]() I also think you are very unfair to toss System of a Down with Crazy Town, Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. The variety inside their tracks, the changes in pace and the suddden moments of pure lyrism due to the pretty uncommon voice of the lead singer result in one of the most interesting rock band around, at least to me. Maybe there are 987 other bands that do stuff similar and I don't know them because I am not a typical fan of this type of music though...
