Looking for good rap and techno

Hi all, I'm looking for some more rap to download. Preferably non-mainstream (ie no Xzibit, DMX, Ludacris..). Recently got some KRS One, and the best yet: DJ Quick. So any suggestions are appreciated.

On the techno side, I mainly like fast beats (with bass), none of the slow beat-less trance stuff. Of course already have all the essentials like Chemical Brothers, Orbital, Infected Mushroom, Eat Static, Man With No Name (check this one out, definetly awesome), Crystal Method, Prodigy, Brooklyn Bounce... looking for something new. Checked out Moontribe, didn't like it.

Hardcore techno. . .

If you're into the hardcore techno/gabber (originating outta Rotterdam) try this compilation:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/AS...590962-3406334

Omar Santana is great.

For the beaty and bassy stuff youre looking for, I recommend some Mauro Picotto.

IMO, his stuff borders hard trance and techno, but its definitly not slow or beat-less.

Oddball rap

DJ Clue - some mainstream but a lot of undergrond stuff from mix tapes.

Pharoh Monch - been putting out quality stuff for a while, just hasen't really crossed over to mainstream yet.

Royce the 5'9 - about to drop his first mainstream CD, check out Scary Movie w/Eminem its an underground classic.

Eyedea (sp?) - Made a name for himself when HBO broadcast a freesytle competition a while back, has some nice stuff floating around.

DJ Magic Mike - Putt out some popular bass tapes in the early 90's, some of his later stuff had a more techno feel to it with hardcore basslines.

I could probably dig up more for you, thats off the top of my head at work, I also have some local acts that are good but I doubt there avaliable for download anywhere.

..

For good drum and bass beats get anything with DJ Shadow.
Entroducing is a wicked album. I wish there was a long version of Organ Donor though.

Artist Mr Doctor | Songs : Fill em up and Gorilla pimpin

Artist Young Droop (close 2nd in favorite) | The whole 1990-hate CD. Just goto amazon.com and find the names of the tracks and DL em off wherever.

Artist Killa Tay(from fresno my home town) | Mr Mafioso, Gone blown (with young droop) and the murda show.

oh how could i forget

X-raided. Hes put out 4 or 5 albums from prison. Hes in for murder. The tracks of his first 2 albums were used as evidence against him in court. He got 25 years. He has done 6 or 7.

X-raided songs | Liqour nigga triggas, Mortal C/Kombat, the hole, Use your nina, anything with lynch.

These guys are all the same genre and all rap together so its easy if you like the shit to find alot of the same shit.

Liqour niggas triggas and the whole psykoactive album was recorded over the phone ( i "think" its psykoactive). The rest are recorded in prison.

Enjoy. And if you like these dude send me a PM i can probably dig for some more.

Some trippy shit thats rap but not really the same class as those guys. Try. First Degree the D.E. The songs Phsycotic woman and watching my life go.

This is a sloppy ass post. Enjoy. plz post your comments

The new CD of Lynch and Doomsday is called The plague. Thats a pretty sicc cd.
