| New HardStyle-v2 mix up! Hey guys. I just want to thank you for commenting on my last mix. Great inspiration. To clear a few things up- as to previous comments- NRG is something I have not messed around with yet- It's a bit different from what I'm working with right now. I can honestly say that I dont really pay attention to the genre in my mixes- though I tend to stay in tune with the bass. As for the length- I try to make something that people will enjoy in a short time period- I learned that it's tough to stay interested in a recorded mix after a certain time length- I'd like to note that when I do live sets, I make them last longer by throwing in random tracks. So...I try to record something short and to the point. I've been working with Hard Style for the most part lately, but as you noted, I also throw some Psy-trance into it- but I do carefully choose what psy-trance I throw in there, the little psy-trance you hear in my mixes is as far as I get with it really. Thanks a lot guys. Stan CLICK LINK TO STREAM Free Mp3 Hosting, Artist Pages, Dj Sets, Free Music Downloads |

+4 Internets | Really dislike that first track, that siren noise makes me wanna stab my ears. The track around 5min - 7min is pretty cool though, and the one after it is awsome. You've done the exact same thing as the last mix though, except this time instead of ending with psytrance you've ended with really cheesy hard trance. Just doesn't mesh at all, I dunno if you do this for a specific reason, but it doesn't work very well usually. If you want to play hardstyle alongside other genres, try, say, starting out with some nice heavy hard trance then slowly shifting into full blown hardstyle, or something along those lines, imo. Just my 2c. |
