For Whom the Bell tolls ( Live versions mainly)
Fade to Black
Harvester of Sorrow
The God That Failed
The Outlaw Torn

I think I am in the minority in that of all Metallica's catalog, I have always preferred the Dirge type songs over the fast, or the more modern.

Bells is not so much a dirge but the intro is amazing, it just builds and builds and builds and by the time it gets to lyrics the song very quickly ends. I have always loved that song live.

If I was to pick only one song to see live, and assuming a packed stadium, then it would have to be Creeping death. Something about watching 20 thousand people all chanting die whilst fist pumping in unison is unbelievable.

Best tracks imho off their first 5 albums before they started sucking:

1. No Remorse
2. Fade to Black
3. The Thing That Should Not Be
4. Last Caress/Green Hell
5. And Justice for All

Their best 5 covers imho:

1. Breadfan
2. The Prince
3. Blitzkrieg
4. Am I Evil
5. Last Caress/Green Hell

They can't even do decent cover songs anymore.
