Lordi - Deadache

Just heard the new single Bite it like a bulldog, rocks pretty hard. These guys haven't let me down yet and judging by this track list, this album won't be the first:

1. "Scarctic Circle Gathering IV"
2. "Girls Go Chopping"
3. "Bite It Like a Bulldog" - 3:28
4. "Monsters Keep Me Company"
5. "Man Skin Boots"
6. "Dr. Sin is in"
7. "The Ghosts of Heceta Head"
8. "Evilyn"
9. "The Rebirth of Countess"
10. "Raise Hell in Heaven"
11. "Deadache"
12. "The Devil Hides Behind Her"
13. "Missing Miss Charlene"

pretty bad ass. the album will be released appropriately 2 days before Halloween on October 29th.

Now that the 'omg metal band wins Eurovision omg awesome!' beer goggles are off, Lordi turns out to be a kinda crappy subpar gimmick band after all.

I love their videos and costumes, awesome stuff. Their music however is pretty shitty. I read a long time ago they were working on a movie. That could be pretty cool as long as they don't play their own music.

I saw Dark Floors and loved it. It wasn't the best movie at Fantastic Fest this year or "one of the great horror films of our time" but i liked it. its a really solid showcase for the band persona's with a Silent Hill-like plot. Lordi himself was bad ass.

I watched it as well, though I had no idea who Lordi was when I rented it. It was a decent movie but not scary at all, had its freaky moments and some pretty cool ideas. Actually looking back I was wondering why all the villians looked like they were ready to go on tour as a rock band.
