Haha, great story Hatorade, who told that? (assuming it's not you since the author said they had a TV show or something)

Edit: Well shit, question answered.

GOOD call.

It's funny how Ham pointed out that 10 years or so ago, he'd have Limp bizkit at his funeral. Back when I was 16 I told my friend that if I died I wanted Metallica's "Outlaw Torn" & "Bleeding Me" played at my funeral. Needless to say, my mind is a bit changed.

I honestly couldn't say off the top of my head what I'd want played at my funeral nowadays. I know there have been songs lately that have struck a nerve that I would totally want played... maybe a Spiritualized song. I'm not sure, i'll be back though, good thread.

It's not even a question for me since it's been my favorite song since the first time I listened to it (even though it only came out 4 years ago).

Autumn Leaves Revisited by Thursday
THURSDAY LYRICS - Autumn Leaves Revisited

Stupid Advent Children video was the only one I found with a good version of the song...

Hmm either Animals - House of the Rising Sun, I wish it could be Eric Burdon live but he'll pass by the time, or Old Crow Medicine Show/Bob Dylan - Wagon Wheel, but only the chorus and if it is sung by an Asian woman, because thats how it was sung to me as a baby, you get the pictule.

I always thought my mom made up that chorus for the longest time, she even said so, I didn't know until I heard the Against Me! cover of Wagon wheel.

I want an infrared beam emitter built into the gravestone so that every time someone passes by it this starts playing.

Why should I worry 'bout a story that has just begun?
It seems like I am sorry for a song that I have sung
My head is kind of oversized 'cause I just have fun
No space is left for the rest of what is going on
It's such a situation in where you're stuck in your own time
We call it obligation to admit that we are fine
Just tell your destination that you're gonna be delayed
You have to build your own excuse for what is being played

Titus jokes aside, I don't want any song played at my funeral that anyone likes. I use to love this one song that is not tied to only pain due to what was going on at the time it was playing. Songs can envoke memories and I would rather have them be good ones. So an unknown score of somekind I think would be best.

For example the band..if you can call them that Ace of Base, I saw the sign. Ha you know exactly where in your life you were when that shit was on the radio every 6 mins.

This thread was too easy.

Surprised that no one has thought of this yet...
