Some Recs

These albums are worth check checking, in my opinion.

Styrofoam--A Thousand Words
Mahjongg--Kontab
Ruby Coast--Ruby Coast EP
Your Heart Breaks--New Ocean Waves
Port O'Brien--All We Could Do Was Sing

I'd link info, but you can last.fm it for information if you think anything I play/recommend is good.

Okaysy!

You guys should check out a song called "Konstantine" by "Something Corporate". Read the lyrics while you're listening to it to get the full effect. Really awesome "love lost" song.

Haha. That made me look in itunes at my something corporate and I had forgotten how I had changed all of the album names to something along the lines of "HAHA I GOT LEUKEMIA" a few years ago in a grand show of maturity.

I knew a girl who told me she wanted to lose her virginity to "Konstantine". I laughed in her fucking face. That band is terrible.

To each his own, I guess. Can't say I like any of their other stuff, don't even think I can name another one of their songs, but that one song is phenomenal.

Thank invisible hands of fate that these boards don't have karma ratings, I'd have an embarrassingly negative score.

I'm digging Styrofoam and Ruby Coast.

In fact, the singer from Ruby Coast sounds really familiar. The whole sound of the band sounds incredibly familiar. Are they a side project or something?

Old school, but I was reminded of the power of this song the other night. Came on in a packed bar and the place went nuts. It was pretty calm when it started playing, by the outro chicks were pouring beer on each other and EVERYONE was moving.

Guns & Roses - Paradise City

Forgive me, I have sinned, for forgetting what this song does to bars & parties.
