 | Ronald Jenkees I'm sure you've seen the videos in the SS section's video thread, but I figured I'd make a post over here about this guy. I bought his CD after hearing the music in the videos and I have to say, this is some excellent shit. It's grade A electronic music and well worth the purchase. Check him out if you have the free time. The tracks Derty and Remix to a Remix are amazing. The song 56k gets some fucking props b/c it's funny as shit. Him rapping about his 56k modem and getting on the nets and shit.

| First, the guy is awesome, even without the retard act. I absolutely love two of the videos on youtube: "a fun beat from outer space" and "messin' with a guitar sound", both of which are supposed to be on the next album. However, I have a hard time enjoying the album that's currently available. I can't stand a lot of the beats/percussion. Most of the sounds he uses illicit a conditioned response of rage (namely that "clapping" sound that so many shit-tastical rappers blanket their noisy excuses for music with these days), and to top it off, that shit is mixed really loud compared to what I actually want to hear (him tearing it up on the keyboard). I'm sure plenty of people like it that way, though. Sorry, I'm just a picky son of a bitch.
