Yeah, I was just in a tough spot though. I needed to buy a new player since my 8gb Sansa's scroll wheel was dieing, and it seemed like a waste to buy a Sansa View or something to tide me over until the Canadian release. I don't regret buying it, that's for sure.

Depending on what you've ripped your music at, and what the settings for syncing are, it might be re-coding all of your music prior to moving it over. That can be very time consuming.

Glad you're enjoying your Zune. The Zune is just a much better product than the iPod Classic. However, I don't like the software but I can tolerate it

I'm still in the Calgary area so I can't see why it was taking so long to transfer the songs onto my Zune but I'll check if Zune is re-encoding my music while syncing when I get home tomorrow.
