Your favorite video game music

So, the Mario Composer thread got me thinking, what are my all time favorite video game music songs?

Well, the first one that comes to mind: Duck Tales: Moon Level
YouTube - Best VGM 40 - Duck Tales - The Moon

Gerudo Valley: Level of Zelda, Ocarina of Time
YouTube - Best VGM 24 - Zelda OoT - Gerudo Valley

FF IV battle music:
YouTube - Best VGM 80 - Final Fantasy IV - Boss Battle Theme

All of Phantasy Star IV
YouTube - The Music of Video Games [118] Phantasy Star IV

Well, I don't want to link too much stuff that others can't contribute...I've got the ball rolling, keep it coming guys. If possible, try to find youtube links for demo purposes.

Hmmm, I meant to put this in other games. Any chance a mod could move it for me? Thanks.

I actually moved this here from Other Games. Traditionally speaking, threads about video game music (and there have been many) have gone in the music forum, since they're mainly about music and not about playing the games themselves.

It's kind of amazing how game music can bring back not only memories of the game, but memories of your life at that time. These still evoke a lot of emotion for me.

FFVI - Terra's Theme

This version is incredible, but there's something about the original that isn't captured by the orchestra. It's as if impossible sadness and rousing hope come together and create some amalgam of intensity and grandeur.

Xenogears - Ship of Regret and Sleep (Intro)

The song is tough to hear, but hopefully people who have never played Xeno will see this and get interested. Believe me, when it all finally comes full circle and you understand what's going on in this video while having the music coalesce around you -- mindblowing.

Super Mario World - Overworld

I could post any song from this game, but I chose this one, because when I hear it, the flood of memories that comes back is so strong I have to take a few moments to settle myself.

Zombies Ate My Neighbors - Chainsaw Hedgemaze Mayhem

Pure, unadulterated badassery.

Twisted Metal 2 - Paris

You blow the Eiffel Tower up and then drive on its French carcass while blowing other people up, all to this fucked up version of Fere Jacques.

YouTube - Song of Storms

YouTube - Zelda - Ocarina of Time Song (Remix)

^ That's someone's sweet remix.

I also really liked the Plane of Earth and Plane of Time music in Everquest.

Well that one garnered some serious emotion right from the start. It was fantastic. I can't really explain it at all, but this one brings up some seriously powerful emotion of a bygone era towards the end when it starts picking up.

Edit: Ok well now I guess I'm gonna spend the rest of my day surfing VG music on youtube.
