+6 Internets | I dunno. Quality harmonies, talented musicians playing real instruments, energy, lyrics with some punch, humor and a message. It might not be the best, but by default it's better than 99.99% of the crap that's pumped out nowadays by the music industry. |

| Agreed. But then again, I hate rap. The horn section in the middle was pretty cool though.

That being said I liked "Handlebars" the first couple times but really not my cup of tea, hows the rest of the CD compared?

| I don't get how this song is good. I can't stand it. I've been hearing it on the sirius channels lately and I can't figure out why they are playing it on rock/alternatives. It doesn't belong there. It's like when they put that shit kanye west on there simply because he did a song with daft punk. Seems like it belongs more on a hip hop channel or something. Maybe they need to make a new brand title for this stuff when it's made by white people (yeah there's 1 black dude). Last edited by Kolle : 05-12-2008 at 11:36 AM. |

| My friend showed me this song a couple months ago, and I promptly made fun of him for it. Had no idea it was getting radio airplay though.

| Had not heard of these guys before this thread a few weeks ago. Really dig it and I'm stoked to see them live. My town (Springfield, MO) doesn't draw much live music but they're playing at a bar downtown for only 10 bucks. Should be a trip. I really enjoy Handlebars but I can understand how people wouldn't. I actually just wrote a three page paper on its lyrics and meaning for a creative writing final. The meaning is open to interpretation but to me it's a much deeper song than it first appears. |
