+12 Internets | Damn, that was a great job! BTW, want to check out some Heart and AiC together? For those part time AiC fans, check out the "Sap" EP that was released just before "Dirt". Two songs with the Wilsons on backing vocals behind Layne. |

good performance though, still not real hot on their new frontman, i dunno i feel like "Alice in Chains" should have been retired after layne and then they could reform under a new name. | |

I'm a little torn about them not reforming, but I'm waiting to hear some new music from them before passing judgment so to say. In response to xKALECx, they also did some live work with Ann Wilson at the Tsunami Relief fund performance which is worth a listen.

+5 Internets | Consider that 90% of Metal songs during the 80's-90's featured some variation of the Barracuda rythym ;if they only ever did that one song it wouldn't matter. While I realize that wasn't the first time syncopated rythym was used like that the song has become synonymous with it and as a result has become an important part of Metal and Hard Rock in general. |

| Nice find. A hell of a lot better than that obnoxious Fergie duet thingy from some idol show. As for the "maybe i missed something but does "Heart" really deserve a tribute from Alice in Chains? lol" comment, I'm going to guess you weren't alive during the 1970's. Women weren't exactly a huge part of the rock scene back then. There were a handful that managed to make a name for themselves, the Wilson sisters being two of them. So, yeah, they do deserve a tribute. Not only for being huge proponents of the Seattle music scene (from which AIC came) but for being pioneers in an industry that didn't exactly welcome women with open arms. |
