| Yeti 5 So this isnt a band, its a zine/journal, but its about music so i figured id throw it in here. Id never heard of it but i saw it at the store the other day and it caught my eye so i googled it and found out the CD that comes with this issue had four tracks picked by Jeff Mangum (of Neutral Milk Hotel) from some of his 78s. He actually sent the 78's to the people and they mastered them. Anyways theres lots of rad articles and good stuff on the cd including Iron and Wine, A Hawk and a Hacksaw, Mt Eerie, Akron/Family and Deerhoof. YETI magazine This is the last track on the CD that comes with it. Id never heard it before. Some context, apparently the title is taken from a hymn about the night before Jesus was crucified. Im not religious in anyway shape or form but i dont think that really matters for this song. It is also one of the songs put on the Voyager and sent out into space back in the 70's (?), which should be leaving our solar system sometime soon, as a representation of some of our best music, for alien life forms to hopefully find one day. Give it a few listens.
