+2 Internets | The Orb Last monday night I took two hits of acid and was listening to music with a bunch of my friends. (I mention that because The Orb plays some pretty damned psychedelic music) My friend put on the song "Slug Dub" by The Orb and then after that we proceeded to listen to "Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld" in it's glorious entirety. It was my first time to listen to anything by The Orb, so to say the least, it blew me away. I've since been downloading as many albums of theirs as I can. wondering if anybody on here is a huge Orb fan and can recommend something of theirs. But in the meantime, to anyone who hasn't heard The Orb's Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld -- I'm going to go ahead and highly recommend it. Also anybody seen these guys live that can comment?

| "A Huge Ever Growing Pulsating Brain That Rules From The Centre Of The Ultraworld" = best song title ever. Other than that I don't really listen to em. I've heard some other stuff thats decent, but not a big fan of dub. They definitely cater towards those who use drugs to enhance the experience as a lot of the music is experimental and doesn't actually sound that great.

I just think their use of audio clips from wherever is really awesome, and how they can just make a beat float away and transform into something completely different.
