| Justice So just got to see Justice w/ Dj Mehdi last night. Fucking bad ass. Seemed like everyone there was rolling balls and just having an amazing time. The only lame thing was their set was pretty friggen short. |

| brrrl | They probably were rolling balls. I'd be rolling balls at a Justice show. Crystal Castles Sunday the 9th? Yep, rolling balls.

+1 Internets | Awesome. DJ Mehdi did a great set for an hour fifteen - mixing, among other things, Daft Punk, Simian Mobile Disco, Boys Noize, Chemical Brothers, Bloc Party. As his set progressed, I was wondering how Justice could top it. But, of course, they did. Shining cross and all, they were effing amazing. Deliciously blended tracks - mostly their own original material but, as Llama mentioned, they threw in their own rendition of Metallica at the end. The crowd was pretty decent, and Gaspard was doing a nice job of getting the crowd involved (more so than I've seen in some videos of other shows). I'm a little disappointed - I almost got to meet Xavier. He was standing out by his bus out in front of the club as we drove up, talking to some people. But by the time we got parked and walked back, he was heading inside. Oh, and I didn't see anywhere to buy shirts at the show. I was looking forward to a tour shirt of some sort, but I saw none. And I can't find any online either, at least at the two places that Ed Banger officially sells stuff. Overall assessment is that they kicked ass, Mehdi and Justice. My ears are still ringing. ![]()
