| Who knows anything about Opera/Classical? So in my music perusals I came across some Italian opera (or at least i think its italian, the song is titled unknown by band unknown and I am really digging the classical/operatic style. I already grabbed some of the three tenors and Andrea Bocelli but I would like to broaden the horizon and expand Anyone know of a couple must listen to albums or um concerts whatever this genre calls their releases?

| You'll usually have whole operas performed by a certain group - remember they're meant to be seen, though. I've had parts of Berg's Wozzeck stuck in my head for the last few weeks. But if you're just getting into it you're probably looking for stuff like Mozart (Don Giovanni, Figaro, etc). I just checked the wikipedia article on opera and just downloading any of the composers there should be fine. I'm not too knowledgeable at all but have listened to a fair bit. |
