I really like the album. End up listening to just Kurt Vonnegut, Hummingbird, and I Need a Life 90% of the time and then working in other songs when I realize that Kurt Vonnegut 6 times in a day is too much. It's funny that Aeg suggested we go buy the CD. I was kind of pissed off once I started listening to it that I couldn't.

Slacker Personal Radio - Listen to Free Internet Radio Stations

Type in Born Ruffians, and you can get good quality music. The way slacker works is they group any band you pick with a handfull of other bands similar, and creates a playlist with the band you pick being played every 3-4 songs or so.

You mean like last.fm, pandora, and every other internet radio service? I guess that one has a trend towards playing songs by the artist you typed in.

I also can't get over the Vandalism remix of Rhianna's Umbrella. It's like, too good for my life.

Missingtoof.com and search for Rhianna.

While you're there, search for The Teenagers and pick up the Gentlemen Driver's remix of Homecoming, too.

EDIT: PS, Girl Talk/Villains/Moby at UCRiverside this weekend. Um, yeah!?

I don't really use soulseek, but usually for me an artist and/or album name is enough, don't need the links. (I mean, if you're concerned about trouble that is)

I'll check those out.

BTW, I'm a little late to the party but I just got the 2007 album by The Apples in Stereo (they're part of the Elephant 6 Collective) and it's effing awesome.

Oh, and what's this about Ham being in 56k land?

I want to clarify...

It isn't wrong to link a torrent site on FoH....

BUT

Why create "potential" trouble for FoH AND the torrent sites that you use....

maybe I am just paranoid when it comes to that type of thing /shrug

I think he moved and now has a dicey connection? That's my understanding.

I'll remove the links since they don't appear to be pleasing people. Hughug.

New Animal Collective EP just leaked...Water Curses. On a side note, no more shows/recs by me in this thread until next quarter, when I'll be an alumni-get-a-job/life-DJ. omgomgomg.

Okay yay!
