Ive been checking them out. I like more vocals in my hardstyle, does that make it a different genre?

What would hardstyle beat line + industrial instruments exclusively + some vocals = ?

Im guessing it would be industrial something or other.

I don't know the sub genres very well at all and I want to find some stuff that really suits me

Hey man. thanks for giving the mixes a listen. I really appreciate it.
I like vocals too....but I choose to use vocals that fit the style of music I try to create. I wouldnt put lyrical hardstyle into a different genre. I guess I just choose not to put too much in. There are too many sub-genres to even begin naming.

As I said in a previous post though, I'll try to mix anything that I like that has a similar tempo/bass line-the basics of mixing really, I just try to do it a bit differently. maybe you noticed from listening to the mixes. As for industrial sound...I have very little idea as to what is even industrial at the moment. I'm still in college, developing something that I enjoy, privately for the most part. At the moment all I'm trying to do is create something I like, find my own style, and hopefully one day go further with it.

Thanks again for listening. It's really what motivates me at the point I'm at with my music.
