| Your going to get a shitload of duplicates. I haven't worked directly in iTunes CSR for a while, but I can't think of any way your not going to get them.
You cannot reverse sync overwrite or delete shit on your library due to making changes on your iPod, and yes the show duplicates feature works on your mac/pc. So I advise syncing back/copying, showing dups and deleting them.
Or hrm, Gonna guess your not lucky enough to be one of those people that synsc a 'playlist' to their iPod as their music source yeah?
Since you already know this, ignore it if you want, however in the future, doing shit like this can fuck you up pretty hard if your not careful. If your sync settings weren't right (Which often times an iTunes update resets them to non optimal settings, seemingly to erase random customers music so they have to write in and complain) you'd lose the 3 hours of work you put in because a sync would wipe your pod. Just edit it on the computer next time! Automatic updates off or not, you'd be surprised how many times I got pigeonholed into updating because of some feature or another, and forgot about something.
