| iPod -> Zune I use a music program that only allows transfer of songs to Zune or Creative devices, so you cant use an iPod. My question is, I have an iPod kit in my car that uses the iPod connection type to plug into the pod because it can charge it as well. Do they make a converter piece to plug into the Zune and still be able to use my iPod hardware that is in my car? something like this Car iPod Hardware and Cord -> iPod/Zune/Creative Converter Piece? -> Zune/Creative Device

| If the iPod hardware is something fairly expensive you might be able to have someone at Head-fi cook up something for you. Many people there will do custom stuff pretty cheap. |

| Lexark, if you find the answer to this, let me know. Overall I like my Zune, but my one big complaint is that the car/radio adapter thingy is complete shit. It looks neater than the iPod one but it just doesn't work as well as it should. I've seen my friends who have iPods with their version of the car/radio adapter that works near perfect on any station they pick always. My Zune one is a fuzzy staticy piece of shit on any station in any vehicle. I just reread your post and realized you're not talking about quite the same thing. Oh well. I'm still annoyed by my Zune car/radio thingy. |

+4 Internets | Thanks for the tip, I was thinking of buying one. I think I'll look into getting a line in jack added to my car stereo, my bud had it done for about $100 and that would provide way better sound quality anyway. |

| Flaccid Steel | While CDs are considered a thing in the past, I don't see why people can't just burn a few more CDs. In fact, a lot of the new cars support MP3 so you can burn 4-6 albums on one CD at 320kbps. If you really want to use a radio transmitter thingy, iPod has by far the biggest support so you'd have to get an iPod. |

+4 Internets | I thought my Sansa was pretty awesome too. Then I tried to make a playlist and/or sync using WMP. Then I wanted to murder someone at Sandisk. Not to mention the scroll wheel mechanism is wonky as shit now, it's almost impossible to pick a particular song, band or album as it's not reading my input properly, it bounces back and forth even when scrolling slowly. Seriously, while my Sansa served me well for 18 months, my 80gb Zune absolutely destroys it in every way imaginable. Now if they'd just open up the Marketplace to Canucks... |
