I'm bringing this thread back to life, only because I saw Andy Mckee (the guy posted by arbiter) doing a cover version of "Africa" and nearly shit my pants.

This guys is so cutting edge...........they are no words for how good he is.

With how effortlessly andy is pulling this shit off, I'm going to have to assume that his left hand is about as strong as a vice grip. You can only go so low on intonation before you get at least one inevitable string buzzing. Been noodling around for the last few days to see what I could pick up from this guy, and I've reached this conclusion: I cannot keep time with my hands slapping the guitar and trying to refret all the time. I does not have the funk in me
