LOL, yeah. I love how they touched on the right Bowie-style pronunciations while singing: "...and I'm floating in a most a-peculiar waaay."

How the fuck could they leave this out:

Its easily better than a lot of stuff listed there. The Siouxie + Banshees cover of Dear Prudence is just boring. I like Both Marilyn Manson and Sonic Youth but I think both covers listed there are worse than originals by several orders of magnitude.

Yeah the House of the Rising sun is a glaring omission as well.

great memory, loved that cover. I think I remember them trying to do another funny video cover later too and it being horrible

That is indeed an awesome cover, but they really sucked at everything else they ever did. I saw them in concert once; they got booed off the stage. I think they also played with Mest. I'd kill the guy who drug me out to see that, but he also took me to a gwar concert where sexecutioner fucked John Benet Ramsey in the ass until she started spewing blood and semen in a magnificent 20 foot arc from her mouth. So, I guess I'll have to call it even.

Didn't see "Feeling Good" covered by Muse originally made by Nina Simone.

I think it's fairly obvious as far as cover songs go that Hurt should be number 1.

Pity they missed Bowie's cover of Port of Amsterdam by Jacques Brel. Simple song, great lyrics and a blast to play and belt out.

Unless i m mistaken, its the other way around my friend, although bowie s version is definately awesome, both on translating and singing aspects.

PS : Joe strummer s version of Redemption song on the Streetcore album.
