Alexisonfire tour

Hey, I'm just posting this here hoping to CHRIST someone even knows who they are. They're one of my favorite bands and they're touring with Saosin, Senses Fail, and The Sleeping (3 more great bands, well 2 great, one meh (saosin)). I'm wondering if anyone has seen Alexisonfire since their new album Crisis came out. I saw them in late '04 when Watch out! came out, but a lot of people looked at Crisis as a "transcending" album for them. I hear they play a lot, but I'm wondering if anyone who's seen them this year knows what they play as far as a set. If you don't know, but know of somewhere where I could find out, I'd greatly appreciate that too.

Saw them in Houston with Moneen. They played a lot from Crisis, namely "This Could Be Anywhere In the World" and it was fucking AMAZING. Flawless. They played Sharks & Danger, Accidents, It Was Fear Of Myself That Made Me Odd, and...of course, .44 caliber love letter. It was fucking perfect. Go.

I'm giong to 4 shows on their tour. DO you recall them playing Drunks, Lovers, Sinners and Saints;Boiled Frogs; We are the end? Boiled Frogs is my favorite song for personal reasons which is why i really wanna hear it live, and DLSS just gets me really fucking riled up. They put on such ana amazing show though so I'm so excited.

They played We Are The End, not the other two. They might though, since this a different tour.

All's I know is that City and Colour are in town sometime in January, so that kind of precludes an Alexisonfire tour. And they sold out pretty much instantly.

They and City and Colour are big in Canada due to Muchmusic.

Ditto for Billy Talent/K-os/Sum41. Or any canadian talent(Rihanna? Nelly Furtado)

I went to see them in September when they kicked off their Canadian tour just as Crisis released. They played with Cancer Bats, Attack In Black and Every Time I Die. I'd seen them a number of times over the last few years at various small venues with bands like Moneen (who kick ass) since they're very local for me; being from London, they're from St. Catherines.

It really is an incredible show. George has a ton of energy. They played pretty much everything off of Crisis. Among a number of their claim to fame songs. I'm at work atm, I'll try to find a list of the set they played later.

I believe City for Colour is Dallas' other project/band...It may be someone else but I'm near positive it's Dallas. I'm exactly one month away and very excited. The new video for boiled frogs is on youtube if anyone hasn't seen it yet.

The CRTC requires a certain amount of Canadian content to be played per hour on music broadcasts Muchmusic radio etc....

This is good in that it exposes some good Canadian bands, but it's bad in that any Canadian band that makes it big gets overplayed ala Nickleback.

I like some nickelback songs on their newest album, does that make me a fag

Anyways, indeed City and Color is Dallas greens side band.

I hate the CRTC though . Fuck Canadian Identity, I want my good american tv.

City and Colour consists of Dallas Green, his friend Casey (whom he borrowed his song "Casey's Song" from), Casey is in another decent band called Sleeper Set Sail, and Dallas' cousin, who's name I forget. Got to see C&C open for Dashboard Confessional on Canada Day this summer in town. It rocked.

Have tickets to see Billy Talent w/ Moneen, Anti-Flag and Rise Against in Febuary. And I just picked up tickets for Taking Back Sunday in March!
