As if discussing Evanescence wasn't enough...

I'll be the first to admit I listened to Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge a few times through, so I felt kind of obligated to give this album a shot.

Basically, I give it a thumbs down.

Sweet Revenge was really good unless you become physically sick knowing you are listening to the Hot Topic fake punk goth vanguard.

This new CD is a lot like Sweet Revenge but less rocking. I'll listen to it a few times but its the kind of CD I won't listen to much. I wasn't expecting a ton even though I liked the last release. Oh well I'm sure it will be huge and have some very big glamorous MTV videos for the singles.

I was hoping for an upbeat pace like many of their last cds songs were.. but the change isn't bad. Though I definately wont be listening to this cd as much as their last.

I listened to the album tonight (going out and back home in my car). I actually really love this CD. There are some "out there" tracks, though. Nothing is completley unusual as far as music goes, but it isn't very much the same style. Lots of catchy songs, such as Teenagers and Mama.

btw, the only video (by My Chemical Romance) I've enjoyed, is Helena.

I think I was readin in Rollings Stone and they said this is the comeback of big arena rock.

meh, proof that RS has horrible writers. I think they even compared Black Parade to Queen

Meh they can suck all the dick they want but if it's good music they make it's fine by me. Quite a few MCR songs that I do like. That new one isn't too bad.
