A media player that doesn't suck?

I've been using ITunes for a while now but... ugha. Anyone use something that's clean, simple, and doesn't suck at organizing a list like Winamp seems to?

Need some suggestions here.

There's been tons of threads on it here, look around and you can find people linking mods and stuff.

I use Foobar as mentioned above, but I also used to use MediaMonkey which I found to be pretty nice as well.

Meh, I'm a year younger than you. Hell my dad uses Foobar, he's 45.

P.S. lol @ some one feeling old from owning CDs. (Instead of 8-tracks, records, etc.)

<3 Media Monkey... it's like a preconfigured Foobar with more usability IMO, I love being able to autotag my files from amazon and adding the album art to the mp3 tags... If you like Winamp player you can also get it to play all your music in that and just use Media Monkey to organize your files.

I liked Media Monkey as well. Only reason I stopped using it was because it wasn't supported by Last.fm.

Winamp and VLC player are the best players around.

I use winamp still. I went to foobar a while back but it crashed too much. The new iTunes is very slick though, tempting.

I just use iTunes. It does everything I want it to and it works with last.fm.

Has anyone else had problems with winamps randomizer? I've noticed it plays some songs much more often than others. I havn't rated anything or done anything like that but it's still far from random and it has been bothering me.

Haha random on everything sucks. On shuffle songs on my ipod I got 4 straight Daft Punk songs the other day (out of nearly 2k). My roommate always complains that his winamp seems to play the same songs more often
