I missed the opening of the Grammy's and really wanted to see the Gorillaz. Does anyone know where I can find a video of the full opening act, where they played Feel Good Inc. and then backup for Madnonna? I spent about 20min and couldn't find anything.

I posted the euro version of the Gorillas in the cool video thread. I think it's a better quality video and less madonna. Even though she's looking good int he viodeo her music still sucks.

I have to admit, I wasnt much of a Gorrilaz fan, but that song is infectious, and the grammy perfomance was ftw.

The first part of Madonna's performance with the Gorillaz I am pretty sure was just recorded, like she was on the screen along with the band. Then she came out for real for all the dancing.

Thats what I figured.

Its some tricky fucking camera work though. You can't see the "screens" or whatever this is projected on.

It's not projected, it's "augmented reality". Real time camera tracking and 3D insertion. The public at the show cannot see the 3D characters on stage, they are only on the TV broadcast.

There was a movie of a presentation of the technology made by some french company circulating around the net several months ago.
