+1 Internets | FYI - Saving Embeded Media via Firefox I know a lot of people already know how to do this, but I'm bored so I thought I would make a quick tutorial for those who haven't figured it oput yet. I'm using the newest release of Firefox. This trick will NOT work in IE, but you can always browse/copy & paste Temp files. Step 1 - Visit the site you want media from (I'm using putfile.com because everything uploaded to pufile can be saved). This will work for most Flash Animations, Non-streaming Music and Non-streaming Video. ![]() Step 2 - Right click on the page, ouside the media and click "Page info". You can also go to Tools > Page Info... Ignore the "Right clicking disabled..." dialogue. ![]() Step 3 - Click on the "Media" tab and scroll through the list untill you find your .mp3, .swf(flash), .mov, etc. and click Save as... Save the file wherever you want. ![]() Step 4 - Enjoy your stolen shit. |
