Korn Remade "Another Brick in the Wall"

Title says it all, and wow they did it fucking perfectly. I know that it might be taken as blasphemy, but IMHO they did better than Pink Floyd.

Have they done any other covers? I've been out of the loop too damn long.

The last horse finally crosses the finish line. And, Jesus, this song (along with every other Korn song in the last 10 years) is god-awful.

I don't really understand those that enjoyed the first album and bashed on every other. Self-titled, Life is Peachy, Follow the Leader, and Issues are all fantastic. I never even sensed a downfall until Untouchables was released (which I sensed after the first song), but it was still decent.

I knew that nobody would agree with me on this, but if I listened to what the majority of people like, then I'd be hearing shitting boy and girl bands and glorified crack dealers all the time. Fuck that. Yes, shitting, not shitty. That's not music coming out of those people.

I stopped paying attention to music around 2000. I *just* started looking to see what sort of shit is out there now. God knows you can't do something simple like just turn on a radio to find out what good new shit has come out these days without being inundated with whiney ass groups that would have been ridiculed off the market when I was younger.

Recently I found out about www.Mercora.com, and their software led me to the remake.

Pink Floyd's version is better if you're on acid. All of their music is the absolute best there is when you're trippin'. Other times, most of their stuff just makes my back hurt. It's probably one of those Pavlov's dog things. I can remember laughing my ass off while hearing, "The lunatic is in my head hahahahaha."

That's another thing that's fucked up these days. The kids don't use acid anymore. Instead, they grind their seretonin receptors into mush with ecstasy, and then write emo songs about the long term effects.

I guess Korn's remake just lets me hear an old classic without the associated pain.

Not sure if I've heard this remake or not. However, the Class of 2000 did an excellent cover of the same song for a shitty teeny movie 5 years ago or so. Tom Morello, Layne Staley, Stephen Perkins, and a couple others. Tis awesome.

heh I know what ya mean when kids use ecstacy now, I've never tryed it and probably never will, i dont want to be paralized!.

As for acid I do know a few people who do, again I've never done it though.

I guess you're like my sister and only liked the good old shit on acid lol, I love pink floyd, I think they're one of the best bands ever. I went to see the Austrailian pink floyd tribute band, sounded like them but it just wasen't the same as the real thing.

I haven't liked anything outside of their self titled CD (which was just ok, nothing special), but I actually didn't mind the Brick in the Wall cover. Not perfect, but not bad either.

I liked the first three (Self Titled, Life is Peachy, and Follow the Leader). Issues sucked asshole, never even really listened to it, and haven't bought an album or even paid attention to them since. I'm in my 20's now and the teen angst lyrics just annoy the fuck out of me now. I still listen to the first 3 a bit every now and then and I enjoy them, but not nearly as much as I used to.

i loved self titled to issues(issues was different but i thought it was good), take a look in the mirror had like 2 good songs, untcouhables maybe 2 good songs also, the rest were trash.

as for their remake of another brick in the wall i cant stand it, i think its an insult.

There's a remake on the new album.. uhh, It's called "Another Love Song." I'm not too sure what it's from, but I've heard it somewhere, and the remake is horrible.
