| Do you still buy Vinyl? Just wonderng if anyone here still buys Vinyl for records? Picked up a bunch of the black-crack today (was supposed to go christmas shopping, ended up with a pile of Vinyl instead), just wonderng if anyone else buys it still? Mostly listen to techno, which alot of the stuff I want is only on Vinyl which is the primary reason why I get it. But, also having two tech 1200s and a mixer makes it fun to play around with (although I cant beatmatch or mix worth a damn) |

| I got the special edition vinyl of Lateralus. I plan to frame that though. I would only buy it for the novelty. I have darkside of the moon and some Beatles too. My friend Alesandro is a DJ. he has actually won some competitions and sponsors. His first was Ablist and I still have two stickers on my wallet. DJ's are great cause they are so technical and nerdy about their hobby. It’s funny to see them as part of the hip hop scene.

| Yeah it’s very difficult to think ahead and coordinate. Also people seem to think DJ's make scratch sounds like a drummer hits a drum. They think you are making a beat with the scratch but it’s actually about controlling what the turn tables are playing. My friend considers his juggling skills to be his best strength.

| I bought Vinyl back when i had tables and a mixer. Had to sell the setup cause I had to pay bills, but I still have my records. Other than that I wouldn't buy vinyl... yah it sounds good but I can't just take it over to a friends house or throw it in my car. CDs are just way way too convenient.

I understand why people Lip Sync, especially the ones who are dancing and shit, or if they have something wrong with thier throat. But to fake DJ, that's just a sign of a dumbass who can't spin and just produces his albums with a computer. Also (this is was just a rumor a few years ago that seemed common knowledge) he has AIDS and knows it, yet still picks up guys at parties goes back to the hotel and fucks em. Screw him he's a poser.
