+1 Internets | Broken Social Scene - self titled~ So today was the release of Broken Social Scene's new cd and along with it comes their 7 track E.P., to be you and me. Was just curious to who might have snatched this up. I grabbed mine today and i was heavily anticipating this as You Forgot it in People is easily one of my top 5 cds i own. I have Beehives too, and that album quite wasn't what i was expecting, i still enjoy it; Backyards is an incredible song as is Lover's Spit. fav track on the self titled = it's all gonna break fav track on e.p. = major label debut (fast) i've only listened to the cd's once through and going back again right now.

+1 Internets | shit. i'm fuckin jealous. i almost bought tickets to see them at 930 club in DC, but i spent too much $$ visiting a friend and seeing death cab for cutie like 5 days before the BBS show.... gah. and the death cab show wasn't much to hoot over either. saw them 2 years ago in pittsburgh and they were much better. they actually played their older material. before i die i'm seeing broken social scene and built to spill. that's all. maybe some others, but that's it.
