This came out this week. I remember someone on this forum describing these guys in concert along the lines of "they didn't play the best music ever, but they were funny as shit, so they were entertaining" and I thought that described them well. The fact that they don't take anything seriously makes the music more enjoyable, and is a nice break in a genre that is usually so.. serious.
They're described as 'nintendocore'. Crazy metalish stuff with old keyboards that reminds you of nes music.
There are a few songs up here.
When I saw these guys last month, they seemed to have improved quite a bit from I last saw them a year and a half before. It was in some shitty back room at a skate park here, with horrid ac, lighting consisting of "off or on", and mic's that went in and out. But they still kicked ass to the crowd that filled the place up.
Even after that show, I didn't expect the album to be any more then 'pretty good' but it's been quite surprising. Gets better every time I listen to it.
Anyone else into them? What do ya think of the cd?
