| Woven Hand - Consider the Birds I have to say, this is one of the best albums I've listened to. The album is described as "goth-folk". Basically, folk-style but very dark. The song writer is aparently deeply religious and thus gives a christian vision as his songs look into the shithole-ness of human life. Very much Cash-esque. This isn't Switchfoot or some such. I am not a fan of "christian rock." This album has a very solid set with no filler. If someone wants to host it, I can make the album available. While I am not directly relating the style of this band to them, if you like Yo la Tengo, the Decemberists, The Eels, or The Magnetic Fields I highly suggest picking up the CD. edit: However, if you just simply do not like music because it is "christian" or whatever, you might want to avoid it.
