Trivium

Checked out Trivium's video on the Roadrunner site. It was pretty cool, I dug the sound, so I went and picked up their last release, "Ember to Inferno" on LifeForce Records.
The record is awesome, really intense but diverse enough to stay interesting with some pretty singing parts and harmonies and stuff. Very melodic stuff, without getting too over-the-top like some of the Children of Bodom or In Flames stuff can get at times. I'd rate it up there with any of the popular metal albums this year from this genre. Check it out if this is your thing.
