Tool or Radiohead: Choose Wisely

It's said that your average internet male must either be a zealous Tool or Radiohead fan, but cannot be both. Which and why? And none of that "I like both" shit. Lines are being drawn up here.

Tool because they can rock hard and I could never really get into Radiohead. They just felt too artsy and like they tried to hard to shove their message down your throat.

Tool by a longshot for me. I just never got into Radiohead. I don't mind listening to it if its on but won't put it on myself.

Like them both a lot and have seen both live, but would probably go with Tool if I HAD to choose.

I concur, this poll is strinkingly homosexual. It just needs a feather boa. I don't see how or why someone can't like both. Personally I lean towards Tool, but I certainly appreciate Radiohead's music (although generally I only end up liking maybe half to 2/3's the songs on their albums)..

I chose Tool.

That being said, I was mildly disappointed with Tools last album, and I don't particularly care for Radioheads last 2 albums. It seems like they both peaked about 5-7 years ago at this rate.

Tool forever, maynard fucks with you and at the end of the day you thought of the lyrics and what they meant... In the end they mean something to you that may completely unique to you, while pulling off an utterly beautiful composition of quite possibly the best rock of this era... Definitely one of the top bands in history, for me at least.

Heh ive liked both bands for as long as i can remember, i voted for Tool simply due to the fact that it happened to be the band i was listening to at the time i read this thread. If i had been listening to Radiohead i would've voted for them.

Both are phenomenal bands though.
