best P2P software?

I was using kazaa-lite, but Kazaa now has so many bogus files it is ridiculous. BTW, Kazaa now charging and taking legal action against the makers of Kazaa-lite is just a joke. Anyway, what does everyone use now? =)

WinMX...selection sucks at times but at least you don't get bombarded with shit.

I'm mainly using Soulseek and WinMX.

WinMX's interface's the best by far. I've always loved it in comparison with pieces of shit like Kazaa, although the selection's way inferior.

mirc

not really p2p in normal sense... but irc is really what I've been using for music needs.

use ircspy.com or packetnews.com... just search for the cd (or game or whatever) you looking for, and bam. it takes some getting used to... but it can be REALLY nice. only bad part is trying to find older stuff, and you can't get individual songs... but oh well

I use Soulseek and BitTorrent for full albums, and my old klite+++ for random shit (porn).

If anyone wants to grab some hardcore/ambient/funk, I'm 'willthethrill' on soulseek.

Hmm thanks Soulseek is working great. Just have to be patient. No instant DLs like like on Kazaa. The wishlist really works well.

WinMX seems to be blocked at my school though =(

Agris I will look you up. I love trance/electronic stuff. I'm usually on soulseek as fippy_darkpaw.

How do you download a file off IRC (after you searched on ircspy and joined channel)? Do they have to be there and send it to you?

I primarily use WinMX for full albums and popular movies (ie recently released on DVD type things) and Kazaa for harder to find movies (primarily due to the massive user base) and random songs (again for the same reason).
