I think they picked locations they wanted to play, rather than ones that would make lots of money.

And amazingly for a legendary band reformed, apparently they don't suck. If they manage to produce new material that rivals the old stuff I think the world will end.

Living in Kansas, either the Columbia or Lincoln shows are going to be the ones for me.

btw - for the guy from Atlanta, I went to Ga. Tech, Fox Theater was one of my favorite places during my college years, along with Masquerade and Tabernacle (esp. Tabernacle)

The Austin City Limits Fest is usually pretty damn fun.

Lasts for 3 days down at zilker park, each night you have a mix of good local music, and then some decent headliners thrown in.

Last year i think REM headlined the thing on sunday.

Ive had a blast the times ive went, and ill definately be going this year if the pixies are gonna be playing.

Good thing the tickets to the Eugene, Oregon showing are only over $200 each on ebay.

And sold out within the hour.

I could be just like highly misinformed, but i'm pretty sure i heard that after this tour, they are just going to break up again, it's like a one time deal, it's what i heard somewhere. That could've got mixed up with Coachella info i heard.

Regardless i don't know if i'll go see em, i mean they are good, but now that they are reunited, they really only play the stuff from when they were all together (namely Kim) like Surfer Rosa & Doolittle. Personally i'd like to hear Alec Eiffel and Head On, but those two are really rare, at least they have been on their tours so far.
